Strong is a common enemy type in Infinitode 2, serving as a tankier target with a larger health pool than a Regular, with a good range of tower resistances to further make it a large threat for most defenses.

Strategy[]

In the early levels of the game, Strongs are often used as the major threat of the enemy pool provided, with their large health pool, numerous resistances and effective scaling with growing wave difficulties all combining to become a large-scale threat.

As hinted at in its list of tower effectiveness, combating Strongs effectively requires towers which excel with single-targets, such as Sniper, and discouraging spread damage towers like Cannon, making sure a defense needs to be varied when paired with other common enemy types such as Fast or Regular.

Oddly enough, Minigun suffers a 50% damage penalty even though it uses bullets, which their description states Strongs are weak to. Inversely, Tesla and Missile (the latter after 1.9.0) are granted a 50% damage bonus despite being area-of-effect towers.
