Splash has Projectile Count as its Unique Characteristics.
Projectile Count is the number of projectiles it fires in one revolution (360 degree rotation) around the tower in one attack.
Leveling up the tower increases the Projectile Count
Projectile Count: 6 + 0.18 * Tower Experience Level [Max: 20]
- Splash Tower does not feature "Rotating Speed" characteristic, as it fires in a spiral. Enemies often fall between the projectiles and don't get hit.
- Attack Speed instead determines how many revolutions Splash will perform. Increasing attack speed will increase the revolutions Splash will do and fire more projectiles overall.
For example. Attack speed of 2.25 and Projectile Count of 6 means Splash will spin 2.25 revolutions per second and firing 13.5 projectiles per second.
- Splash Tower features Accuracy in its secondary characteristic.
Accuracy - determines the size of hitbox of the projectiles (in tiles). The higher accuracy, the larger the hitbox which means each projectile is more likely to hit an enemy. (Max Accuracy is 120% or 1.2 tiles). Accuracy can only be increased by Upgrade Levels not through Experience Levels
- Each projectile can hit one enemy.

Penetrating Bullets: Damage is lowered by 10% but bullets can hit as many enemies as it can travel. For each enemy is attacks, its damage is reduced by 60% such that 1st enemy takes 100% damage, 2nd enemy takes 60% damage, and 3rd enemy takes 36%, and etc.
Rifled Barrels: Deals 10% more damage to enemies who are moving 0.8 tiles per second or less. Freezing Effects and Snowball/Blast Stuns are considered when enemies are moving.
Splash Tower is a generalist tower that is able to attack both ground/air enemies. However it struggles mainly against Armored enemies since they take 25% damage and completely resistant to Regular enemies.
Fast enemies can go through low level Splash Tower easily because of how slow projectile speeds and low accuracy. This can be reduced by upgrading the tower or placed in attack speed tiles or through Fast Bullets/Fast Mechanism abilities.
Best tile placement: Damage and Attack Speed
Attack Speed increases revolutions from Splash Tower therefore firing more projectiles as a result which makes hitting enemies much easier on average.
Damage increases damage dealt although it is less useful than Attack Speed, It synergizes well with Penetrating Bullets because of the 10% damage loss.
Optimal 2 Abilities: Penetrating Bullets, Fast Mechanism
Penetrating Bullets is a must have if you have cluster of enemies. Although it deals 10% less damage per enemy hit and 60% for every penetrated enemy, the damage quickly accumulates on every enemy as Splash gets more attack speed as well as Projectile Count to counteract the damage loss. This is very useful for farming since you will have many enemy spawners up at once.
Fast Mechanism is better than Fast Bullets. More attack speed means more projectiles dealing more average damage since more projectiles means more chances to hit enemies.
Rifled Barrels works well against enemies who move less than 0.8/sec. This effect can easily activate using Freezing Tower and Blast Tower. Both towers reduces speed. Stunned enemies moves at 0/sec.
Even Fast enemies will be slowed less than 0.8/sec under freeze effect or stun effect.
However Enemies can bypass freezing effect such as Jet and Icy enemies and therefore much harder to activate Rifled Barrels effect.
Magnet and Splash Tower combines well while attacking a boss.

Advinas: You probably won't use it much for now, but it can be extremely useful against enemies you'll meet in future.
Advinas: Splash tower shoots in all directions and doesn't aim at a particular enemy.
Advinas: It can attack flying enemies, which means it's more universal than the Antiair tower.
- Splash and Multishot are the only 2 projectile based towers who do not have seeking projectiles
- Splash and Multishot are also the only two towers whose projectile speed research also increases damage.
- Splash and Blast are the only two damaging towers who do not target a specific enemy.
- Splash's number of barrels increases as its projectile count increases.
- When magnet is activated splash will still continue to try and fire in 360 degree fashion, though projectiles will still be redirected to the strongest enemy.
