Unique Characteristics[]
Minigun has Acceleration and Magazine Size as its Unique Characteristic.
Acceleration - The rate (in %) of increasing tower's shooting spread (angle) , at 100% acceleration it reaches a maximum of 12 degrees at max acceleration
Magazine Size - The amount of ammunition the tower can fire before having to reload which will take 6 seconds after expending all of its magazine or no targets are in range
Increasing Tower experience level increases acceleration and magazine size
Acceleration = 8 + 0.5 / Tower Experience Level
Magazine Size: 100 + 2.5 / Tower Experience Level
Other Characteristics[]
Minigun initially focuses the enemy, every second it starts to accelerate which increases the spread of its attacks.
Although it targets an enemy, the bullets will collide the first enemy it hits.
Each bullet consumes 1 ammo from the magazine size. Once the magazine runs out, Minigun will not attack for 6 seconds due to reloading and restores its ammo based on magazine size. It will also reload automatically when no enemies are within range regardless of ammo count though it will be cancelled if there are enemies to shoot.
Minigun does not have "Projectile Speed" since its projectiles instantly hits its target.

Hot Bullets - Once Minigun reaches its maximum firing speed, it will activate burning effect.
Choosing Foundation abilities changes burning effect to poison effect.
Minigun's burning effect decreases Freezing effectivenesses from towers by 33% (behaves like Flamethrower).
Ultimate - minigun will try to spawn microguns at the platforms and if no such tile are available it will be placed on roads instead.
- If an enemy steps on the microgun, it gets destroyed. In addition they do not block enemy pathing especially when Enemy walk on platforms are enabled.
- A tower can be placed on top of the microgun, destroying it. Furthermore Basic Towers Cloning Ultimate can clone towers on top of microgun as well also destroying it
- The microguns do not carry any magazine meaning they can fire indefinitely
- The microguns attack range can be seen when selecting microgun
- The microguns are not affected by modifiers or tile effects
- Selling the tower will destroy the microguns
Strategy[]
Minigun boasts the highest DPS for single target. Its advantage against slow enemies such as Armored and Healer. However despite this it only deals half damage to Strong enemies. It also can attack air enemies as well making it a generalist tower against Air enemies.
It's rotation speed however makes it a poor choice when dealing with clusters of enemies since by the time it faces the enemy, the enemy already went out of Minigun's range.
Minigun struggles against fast enemies since they do less damage and also less time to focus on them
If there is a freezing tower nearby, always get Foundation to replace Hot Bullets with poison as its Exp Level 10 effect will remove freezing effect making it a nuisance for other towers to hit it.
Minigun is best against boss levels (custom maps, .8 levels) but not against all others since every wave features a group of enemies rather than just having only one enemy per wave. Like Basic, Minigun is widely used against bosses since they always deal 100% damage to them and can deal the maximum amount of dps against it. It does complement with Sniper as it is able to attack Armored and Healer enemies (both are slow enemies) at 150% damage.
Minigun weakness is its inability to attack Fighter enemies which requires other towers such as Sniper / Flamethrower to be able to remove Fighters. It might boasts extremely fast attack speed , it also comes with downside of having to reload after using all of its magazine capacity becoming useless for 6 seconds.
Minigun main strength comes from microguns which they can be placed on parts of map providing more coverage in the map and does not carry ammunition unlike the main Minigun. They also increases the MDPS of minigun itself improving spells damage. With research, up to 3 can be spawned at a time. They scale based on minigun stats meaning upgrade level 10 is generally preferred for their maximum performance. Note that the microguns deal 100% of the main damage.
Best tile placement: Damage -> Experience -> Attack Speed
Damage boosts its already impressive single target DPS. Useful alongside Heavy Weapon ability which is a core for Minigun. It should be preferred more than Attack Speed
Experience: Although not preferred, minigun does need experience level to increase its magazine size so it can fire more before reloading.
Attack Speed boosts its already impressive attack speed. It also increases firing speed as it is % of attack speed. Use Attack Speed tile if you are going to get the Heavy Mechanism ability which also increases its attack speed by 25% giving it a whopping 56.25% attack speed boost when firing at full firing speed. Be careful though this will empty the magazine much faster and overall increases the downtime then it is then attacking.
Optimal 2 Abilities: Heavy Weapon/Foundation, Heavy Weapon/Heavy Mechanism
Heavy Weapon is a must have. The 23% damage is a free stat for all Miniguns to take. It also provides 10% damage debuff which indirectly improves its damage and other towers
Heavy Mechanism: is a second-best ability since it provides attack speed boost, more magazine size and slower acceleration reducing its bullet spread so it can focus on the enemy more allows minigun to deal more dps before reloading.
Foundation: Despite being a horrible ability (with research), it is needed since it will change its Hot Bullets ability to being Poison Effect. Without foundation, Minigun will interfere with Freezing Slow effect. This poison effect will perform the same as Burning effect except it will not remove the slow effect from Freezing. Always get this if you are using Freezing Tower. Also useful in Daily challenges as researches are disabled and minigun has extremely low rotation speed making it difficult to chase enemies. It is also a viable choice to compensate for the low rotation speed.
Ultimate - Always get this upgrade then Powerful. Even if there are no platforms available on the map, they can still be placed on roads for additional damage.

Trivia[]
- Minigun is one of the two towers that appears one level earlier - Level 3.6 that is automatically built at the beginning of the Level with Random Target. However the player cannot build miniguns unless they have access to Level 3.7. The other is Laser.
