Light is the last enemy type in Infinitode 2. It is highly adaptive to any damage type it is faced with, being able to grant itself damage reduction towards a single tower type that has damaged it.

Fighting a Light requires a player to recognize the benefits of mixing and installing multiple tower types into their defense, as its main gimmick is to develop an intense resistance against a single tower type for 6 seconds (but not more than once every 10). Combining multiple tower types is advised as a result, as having a large ensemble of a single tower type can lead to wide-scale loss of damage output, on top the various resistances and vulnerabilities Lights already possess. Damage from a Sniper, for example, will be reduced to 25% due to natural resistances, where the extra 75% resistance will kick in and decrease all further Sniper shots to a staggering 6.25%.
The ability to adapt can be exploited with weaker towers to provoke the ability, allowing stronger towers to deal full damage. Tesla, in particular, with its high attack speed and the ability to hit multiple enemies works well at doing this.
Venom also has its benefits, as its direct damage is not as important as its damage over time, which means it can both provoke the resistance for other towers and deal its typical damage over time unabated.
