Description[]

This is the final level of the main story mode, getting the first star unlocks endless mode. The map is 60 tiles long (62 for bosses).

  • Broot appears at wave 20.
  • Stakey appears at wave 40.
  • Constructor appears at wave 60. Beating him rewards you with the first star.
  • Mobchain appears at 80. Upon defeating, enemies can now walk on platforms (which will be shortened to EWoP for conveniency), every red portal disappears and you're awarded with the second star.
  • Metaphor appears at wave 100 and awards the third star upon defeat.

Strategy[]

It is recommended to balance out buying a lot of towers and moderately upgrading them rather than buying a few towers and upgrading them heavily. This combats both the metaphor and the EWoP later on.

Be aware of placing towers close to portals (see picture) and the Metaphor's ability to disable strong towers and towers 1 tile away. Make sure to spam towers such as basics and antiair (which becomes the cheapest tower with enough research) to nullify the EWoP effect and make the enemies and Metaphor's path longer (and changing the path that the Metaphor crosses to evade its disabling aura).

Against every boss[]

See their respective page, one thing to note is that every tower except crusher and gauss are available in 5.8 but facing them for the first time is different.

Broot[]

Sniper and minigun can take care of Broot with some assistance by other towers. It is also recommended to disable your towers once broot reaches its healing phase to prevent him from healing, and enabling them once the effect is over.

Stakey[]

Single target towers are not recommended, however they can work as long as you make sure they target other parts of its body before targetting the head.

Constructor[]

Sniper and minigun can take care of Constructor but clean-up towers are needed for the enemies it spawns.

Mobchain[]

Tesla is effective for the first and last 1/3 of its body parts health. Minigun can easily take out the body parts even with resistances. Pair the 2 towers plus other good towers. Make sure to be ready for enemies walk on platform after its defeat.

Metaphor[]

It is advised to have a high number of towers to avoid great loss from your best towers being disabled by the Metaphor.

Creeps[]

Treat them like more dangerous versions of normal enemies, which means towers with AoE can work. Diverse targeting is recommended.
